I'm so excited to show you guys these SMP results!
Just for a little background:
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is an advanced cosmetic procedure that involves the application of specialized pigments on the scalp to create the illusion of a fuller head of hair. Unlike traditional hair transplants, SMP is a non-invasive treatment that provides immediate results and requires little to no downtime.
During an SMP session, I use micro-needles (a fraction of the size of a tattoo needle) to inject pigments into the scalp's very top layer. By strategically placing these pigments to mimic natural hair follicles, SMP can very effectively camouflage bald spots, receding hairlines, and even create the appearance of a closely-shaven hairstyle for people with extensive hair loss.
In this particular case, my client was only thinning in the front and wanted to keep it looking very natural. Our goal was to add JUST enough density to this area to reduce the visibility of the scalp. You can see that, overall, he doesn’t have super dense hair so keeping it blended to match the rest was really important when working on only doing this small area.
Each treatment is personalized to the client's specific look and goals. We could have absolutely gone denser or darker if that was the look he wanted to achieve, but that wasn’t the case.
He loved the results and I love a happy client!
